Student Testimonials
Eli Hart - Campo Verde High School
Do you have a favorite memory, lesson, or class project from Business Management?
"My favorite project was the final project for the marketing and advertising course. I got to create an idea for a restaurant, and I created advertisements, a menu, and a logo, as well as choosing a good location and analyzing who my target customers were and how to reach them."
How has Business Management positively impacted your high school experience?
"The program allowed me to explore my passion for entrepreneurship and gave me an education that was only really available in college before. I learned presentation skills and other interpersonal skills. On top of that, I learned how to use many computer programs commonly used in the workplace. One of the biggest achievements I have made through the program was completing two-state CTE certification tests. These really helped me with finding a job that would give me this experience beyond a minimum-wage high school job.”
Do you believe what you’ve learned in Business Management has prepared you for your future career?
"Yes. 100 percent. I went from having an interest in business to actually taking the steps of starting my own at age 16. It taught me the steps on how to start a company, and how to advertise it. The interpersonal skills also helped when meeting with a possible investor."
