CVHS Marching Band Wins 4A State Championship, Recognized at GPS Governing Board Meeting

Campo Verde High School earned a first-place finish at the AZMBA Class 4A State Finals, securing the title of State Champions with an overall score of 91.125.

In addition to the state title, the band swept the caption awards with the highest scores in:

  • General Effect: 27.45
  • Music: 22.50
  • Visual: 23.125
  • Auxiliary: 9.05
  • Percussion: 9.00

On February 24th, the GPS Governing Board recognized Director Matt Kozacek and students Samson Cisneros, Hudson Langford, Audrey Kozacek, Jaidin Zondlewski, Devynn Spence, and Eryn O'Sullivan for their achievement and dedication to the program.
